Winds, tissues, structures, twist, swell, calm down, listening to nature.
Between opacity and transparency, density and lightness, matter and impalpable, between the top and the bottom, the hollow and the bump, the inside and the outside, between order and disorder, the artist captures moments of space which he translates movement into a state of flux. This movement, an indicator of upheaval, evokes the oppositions and tensions that characterize the work, in the image of the precariousness of the world in all its struggles.
If chance comes in a first step, Jivko SEDLARSKI does not entirely engage in the practice of randomness. He integrates it into his work but counteracts it to a certain extent with the more subjective color that gives all of these forms and combinable lines an original character.
Bas-reliefs or volumes, small pieces or monumental sculptures, the TENSIONS impose by the spectacle of the path of their forces and by their graphic design, sometimes rectilinear and angular, sometimes lyrical, neighbor of the arabesque. The work here is similar to the body of the dancer -or the dancer-thus constituting a veritable ballet "cynegetic."
